Mayor Sessoms of Virginia Beach Discusses Positive Impact of J-1 Cultural Exchange Visitors

Throughout Virginia Beach, there are several places where community organizations and churches offer places to meet people, have coffee, use internet free of charge, and sometimes get a free meal.  The following places this summer will offer some of these benefits to international students.  These are great opportunities to learn about the community where you are living and to meet people who may be interested in helping you with issues and/or learning about our culture.

Virginia Beach Community Chapel (VBCC) is located at 1261 Laskin Road.  Phone number is 757-428-1881.  The Chapel hosts a variety of activities for international students. Learn more at  http://www.vbcchapel.org/VBJ1
